Terms, Conditions, Policy and Privacy
Forward Slash is a registered business operating under the ABN of 58 367 503 387. All sales and services are subject to these terms and conditions. If you purchase from Forward Slash you are acknowledging that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by our Terms and Conditions.
All transactions are quoted and processed in Australind dollars. All pricing set by Forward Slash is subject to change without notice due to the nature of fluctuating prices in the computer industry. Written quotes are valid for 14 days only. Upon request, we will provide an invoice for goods or services sold. We reserve the right not to honour errors in pricing. All prices exclude freight or delivery unless otherwise stated.
Forward Slash accepts payment by Direct Deposit, Cash and PayPal. See Bottom of page for full payment details. All orders are cash on delivery, cash on pickup or payment upon order. Goods may be held by Forward Slash until payment is received in full. Orders over $50 may require a 20% deposit. Orders over $500 may require payment in full upon order.
We reserve the right to collect and log all details and information for our business purposes. All information submitted to us is private and confidential. We will not share any information gathered with any third party for a profit.
Limitation of Liability:
All products sold are to be used at your own risk. Under no circumstances is Forward Slash liable for the following:
– Third party claims against you for damages,
– Loss of, or damage to your records, data, profit, time, or any type of hardware/equipment. This including products that suffer manufacturing faults.
– Forward Slash’s liability is limited to the cost of the product purchased from us. All of the products that we sell are to be used at your own risk and we are in no way liable for any loss, damage or injuries suffered from poor installation or use.
Please contact us ASAP should you suspect having received a faulty product or service. Please include your original invoice number and contact details, a description of the problem, and any other information you think might be related.
All new equipment or hardware products carry a minimum manufacturer warranty of 12 months unless specified otherwise. Refurbished equipment holds a warranty of 90 days unless specified otherwise. Software is not covered by warranty under any circumstances. Any product deemed faulty within 7 days of purchase will be classified as DOA (dead on arrival). All DOA warranty claims are handled by Forward Slash and may be subject to a refund or replacement upon return. Some products are covered by manufactures warranty or 3rd party warranty, if a product is covered by manufactures or 3rd party warranty it will have to adhere to those guidelines (check product manufactures or 3rd party’s website for more details). Products purchased within 12 months can be returned to forward slash and then passes onto the manufacture, but if the manufactures cover more than 12 months warranty the customer will have to deal with them direct after the first 12 months have expired. Whist Forward Slash and its suppliers will try to return or replace faulty products as soon as possible it may take up to 30 days from receiving the faulty product. Goods returned faulty will be repaired or replaced, a refund will only be offered of the product is DOA or cannot be repaired and replaced. Products suffering from damages caused by mishandling, configuration errors, tampering or environmental defects will forfeit all warranty rights. Goods returned that are deemed no fault found may incur a $30 no fault found fee.
All warranty returns delivered to Forward Slash including 3rd party, manufactures or DOA warranties must have a RA form completed with the faulty product. To obtain a RA form please contact Forward Slash.
